Lecturers of the Department of Marketing Nataliia Letunovska and Anna Rosokhata are actively involved in the educational and scientific events of the University of Liverpool, where they are currently undergoing internships.
Last week, Nataliia and Anna joined a guest lecture at the Institute of Public Health on the importance of promoting healthy eating and the role of unhealthy eating habits in liver diseases if a person does not adhere to the principles of good nutrition in their diet.
This week, they attended a lecture by Anatoli Colicev, a lecturer at the Department of Marketing at the School of Management, on the issue of publishing scientific articles in top-rated journals in the marketing field. He shared his experience as a member of the editorial board and all stages of the publication process, from submission of the article to its publication on the journal website.
Natalia and Anna also actively continue their research work in collaboration with Associate Professor of Food Marketing and Child Health Emma Boyland on the role of marketing incentives in the eating behavior of young people using the latest neurotools of the Eating Behavior Laboratory at the University of Liverpool.
The project team “Institutional and Functional Adaptation of the Public Health System to Ensure the Post-War Recovery of Ukraine’s Economy and Human Potential” has been awarded funding from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for the 2025–2027 implementation period.
Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Yana KRYVYCH joined the regional forum "Training of Specialists in Vocational Education Centers of the State Employment Service: Training Ukrainians for Business Needs", which was held on January 16, 2025 in the village of Khoruzhivka, Romensky District, Sumy Region.

In the autumn, 2024, the accreditation of the educational and scientific program “Marketing” for PhD preparing was held at the Department of Marketing of Sumy State University. According to the results of a detailed examination conducted by the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, the program received the highest rating - “excellently”.
On November 17, 2024, Professor Henryk DZWIGOL, a lecturer at the Department of Marketing at Sumy State University and a researcher at the Silesian University of Technology (Gliwice, Poland), celebrated an important milestone in his career – 20 years of scientific activity.
