Sumy State University took first place among the universities of Ukraine and entered the 401-500 best universities in the world according to the updated World University Rankings from the authoritative international agency in the field of higher education – Times Higher Education (THE).
According to data, Sumy State University was included in four of them: “Business and Economics” (top 251-300 among universities in the world), “Physical Sciences” (top 301-400), “Engineering” (top 301-400) and for the first time – for branch “Social sciences” (top 501-600).
In each of these ratings, Sumy State University ranks first among higher education institutions of Ukraine. Compared to last year, Sumy State University improved its position according to indicators of educational activity, research environment and international openness.
THE World University Rankings evaluates universities in terms of the quality of the educational process, dissemination of scientific research results, success in cooperation with foreign partners.
