With the credible support of #V4 partners, the irrepressibles of the department of marketing successfully implemented a grant project “Carbon-free economy: the best practices between the V4 and Ukraine” co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund.
In the project framework, two scientific festivals gathered more than 100 young scientists from different countries, including the V4 countries, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Ghana, India, Kyrgyzstan, and Germany.
The leading experts initiated the participants with the features of carbon-free economic development and highlighted the main advantages of the transition to carbon-free economic development. They compared the experience of progressive countries in developing a carbon-free economy, which could be applied at the local level. In addition, the participants gained valuable practical skills in using bibliometric analysis tools for conducting scientific research.
Some of the project’s deliverables were reflected in the participants’ scientific papers published in the scientific sources indexed by Scopus and Web of Science databases. In addition, the main project findings were presented at training and international conferences, particularly at the VIII International Scientific Conference “Determinants of Regional Development” and the III international postgraduate seminar (Poland).
Under the grant project, the e-learning course (in English and Ukrainian) has been developed. The e-learning course is expected to improve the awareness of the students on the issues of carbon-free economic development and promote an eco-friendly lifestyle.
